- My Focuses: General Artist, Varied Artist
- What I do: I've been semi-actively using Photoshop over the past six or so years, and have dabbled in several other graphic design software. As for traditional art, the knack for it comes from my dad, who makes and sells pottery for a living and is otherwise a great artist.
I have refined the art of drawing simple and cute creatures to a science, but I just have a natural talent in every other artistic endeavor I've attempted. I'm not claiming to be an amazing artist, I'm just saying that I definitely have potential to be. Unfortunately, I've been in the midst of a depressing state of motivationlessness*
Sewing is the newest skill I've been honing. Check out my portfolio to see my amazing sewn things.
*You will notice that I'm also a very skilled neologist.
- My Interests: Thrift stores, discount grocery stores, candles, learning languages, playing guitar, incense, sculpting, sewing, sunlight, water, computers (but to a lesser degree than earlier in my life, thank god), hygiene, cameras and photography, the cultivation of fungi, oldish video game systems (N64, Playstation, NES, etc.), music, meditation, health, ink drawing, organizing, caring, collecting, colors, and MUCH, MUCH MORE :D
- Styles I like: When I really like an art piece, it's usually got to have some kind of uniqueness to it. Any offbeat take on common styles is appealing. When the effort put into the piece is obvious, that really helps because I firmly believe that at least half the merit of art is the process leading to the final result.
- Movies I like: 28 Weeks Later, 300, Little Miss Sunshine, Grandma's Boy, Balls of Fury, Jackie Chan's older movies (not shit like The Tuxedo or The Medallion or any of the Rush Hours.) Amélie, Superbad, 30 Days of Night, Death at a Funeral, Employee of the Month, I Am Legend, Mr. Brooks, Reservoir Dogs, The Darjeeling Limited, Zeitgeist, The Mist, Walk Hard, Fear and Loating in Las Vegas (and pretty much every movie Johnny Depp is the lead in), and others, I just can't think of them.
- Bands I like: The ones with a * are my super fayves.
- Music I like: I do not discriminate genres. I think there is music to be appreciated in every style.
- Games I like: I don't play many video games, but I really liked Half-life 2 E:2 (haven't played the others) and older games like Mario Kart 64, and all of the Super Smash Brothers games.
